OUR MISSION OUR PHILOSOPHY To establish Golf learning programs as a safe and friendly learning environment that will provide a smooth structured pathway for all students to obtain the knowledge to progressively develop the acquisition, application and consistency of the skills necessary to play the game effectively at all levels of competency. The golfers guide is a Golf educational service provider that helps individuals and groups as well as businesses attain golf and related life skills that will provide personal gains that can empower learners to reach their individual goals, combined with the benefits of greater self-esteem and self-motivation, will create tremendous advantages for all golfers. All golf education classes are designed in stages to form an individualized training process to cater for the needs of all students who want to achieve their greatest potential, by; Providing a thorough assessment process to determine weak and strong points and guiding golfers through the various stages of development from New Golfer to Expert. Guiding golfers alone the journey from their current standards to progressively greater levels of skill. Recommending appropriate time managed training methods and effective practice activities. Through our expert tuition we can show you how to make the necessary improvements. An assessment process where golfers playing and practice performances are regularly monitored to measure the effects of training through a structured testing program.
TOM FIELDING
A comprehensive and highly successful background experience as a leading golf coach makes Tom Fielding the ideal person to be a Golfer's Guide. From his extensive experience of golf coaching in Australia and Asia, Tom Fielding is widely known and respected for his work and results in successfully developing senior and junior golfers. Firmly committed to the use of "state of the art" swing analysis, and other modern teaching aids and methodologies, Tom is able to design highly personalised coaching programmes for each individual student. Many years of successful coaching experience, and impressive results in Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore, has enabled Tom to quickly and accurately identify the technical and personal needs of his students, in order for them to achieve the desired level of consistent golfing progress. Tom Fielding is a member of the Australian PGA since 1979, and maintains the highest Australian PGA coaching accreditation level of AAA, as well as a level 5 Diploma in sports coaching from the Australian coaching council and has been listed in the top 50 golf coaches in Australia.   His recent appointments with National and Regional golf teams, have included: National Coach, Malaysian Ladies Amateur Senior Team National Coach, Malaysian Ladies Amateur Junior Team Technical Advisor, Malaysian Amateur Men's Golf Team National Coach, Singaporean Men's Amateur Senior Team National Coach, Singaporean Ladies Amateur Senior Team As a result of his established reputation as a leading international golf coach, Tom Fielding has worked with, and currently maintains excellent relations with many leading international golfers and coaches, including, Peter Senior, Gary Edwin, Steven Bann, and Dale Lynch. This in turn, has involved him in also working with many of the other Australian players currently enjoying success in Australia and overseas.   After completing his traineeship with Glen Waverly Golf course, Victoria, G.C. Tom's Subsequent major appointments have included:   Singapore Head Instructor, Peter Senior / Gary Edwin Golf Academy, Orchid CC Malaysia Director of Golf Academies, MST & Wilding Golf Academies, Malaysia (8 locations) Australia Head Coach, Pure Golf Academy, Sanctuary Cove GC, Queensland Campus Instructor, Pure Golf Academy, Melbourne Campus, owned and operated by Steven Bann, Dale Lynch and Ian Baker-Finch. This company had direct links to the Victorian Institute of Sport. Assistant Golf Professional, Sheraton Mirage CC Director of Golf, St Paul's International School Golf Academy Japan Lecturer and Instructor, Kishu Testudo International Golf Schools, Palcall Tsumagoi GC, Gunma-ken and Tsuru CC, Tochiji-ken Guest Lecturer and Instructor, Fuji Golf School, Fukashima-Ken Guest Lecturer and Instructor, Simple Swing International Golf Schools, Gifu-ken Tom has played the Australasian PGA Tour, and has also competed on the Asian circuit.
